When programming embedded IoT devices we face the trade-off between control and flexibility. XDK LIVE/MITA is a new programming language which affords high flexibility through powerful abstractions, thus enabling fast prototyping and exploration. XDK LIVE compiles to C code which allows inspection and provides a great deal of control over the device.
In this video we demonstrate XDK LIVE and create a connected shock detector which notifies its users using Bluetooth Low Energy.
