Phil Spencer just did an interview on the Kinda Funny Games Xcast and in this Phil Spencer Interview the reaction to what Phil said has been anything but positive/ Phil said things like "Great Games Won't Make a Difference", "We are not looking to out console Sony & Nintendo", and that Xbox will never be able to compete with Sony's PlayStation 5 and the Nintendo Switch. With both Switch and PS5 getting a consistent flow of quality 1st party exclusive content and Xbox repeatedly releasing disappointing game after disappointing game whether that be Halo Infinite or most recently redfall, Microsoft has failed to provide the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S with high quality AAA exclusive games for almost 7 years now. Phil Spencer even went as far as to say that games scoring 60 on metacritic is perfectly acceptable to him and just "part of the business". If you were worried about the state of Xbox before this interview should be sounding the alarm at full blast. This type of loser mentality is not coming from a place of confidence and is just another chapter in the Phil Spencer apology tour saga. Can Starfield save this sinking ship?
