Is the disc drive officially dead? Right after PlayStation confirmed it is ending disc production, insider Jez Corden says Xbox's next-gen console, Project Helix, likely won't have a disc drive either, and Xbox may be weighing the end of physical support entirely.

Nothing is confirmed yet, and Xbox has stayed silent, but Corden points to the rising cost of printing discs as the reason. If both Xbox and PlayStation go all-digital, Nintendo would be the last console maker still shipping physical games. Would a disc-less Xbox be a dealbreaker for you?
