Upcoming Moroccan themed kit pack has been confirmed by Xbox's twitter post!
Earlier today there was a leak about an upcoming Moroccan themed kit pack...Well Xbox has confirmed this leak is legit with a recent twitter post!
Although the leaked "Courtyard Oasis Kit" leak seemed legit, many of us still questioned if it is official or just a very convincing hoax especially since the original link was removed and is now inaccessible
As usual I’m late to the game hearing the latest news, but I’m kinda glad because Xbox has officially responded to a humorous tweet the official sims twitter posted and it is very revealing
Xbox is owned by Microsoft so the fact the sims called them out to check their texts and the fact that Xbox responded admitting a leak has occurred seems to confirm that this leaked kit is official.
So it is now safe to assume this kit is for real based on this twitter conversation between The Sims and Xbox
This conversation also highlights that we will be getting a summer road-map on May 17th that will hopefully detail what we can expect for the next few months - hopefully like the 6 month road map we were given like over a year ago?
They might even divulge what the next game pack will be
Twitter is still blowing up right now with speculation about what the “hot summer” is referring to, perhaps hinting at the theme for the next game pack
Although I think that since the kit pack has already been leaked, I doubt Sims would also provide any cryptic hints for the game pack as well
So The hot summer reference might just simply refer to the Moroccan theme of the kit
But at least we know that this kit pack will be coming to us May 18th on on the 17th we will be getting more news about future content to come
Something interesting to keep in mind for future content has been brought up by my gorgeous friend Alaeryn in her news report for simmersdigest.com
And that is the way this new Moroccan kit seems to reflect recent content released in Sims FreePlay and Sims Mobile
Could this be a trend going forward? Could the mobile iterations of the Sims franchise be a way of testing content to see how popular it is before adapting it to Sims 4? If this is the case we might be seeing more future content based on what has already been released to the mobile versions
