WWF tag team APA wrestlers John “Bradshaw” Layfield and Ron Simmons gave a panel at Nickel City Comic Con June 2025 to talk about their careers, experiences, and answer fan questions.
John "Bradshaw" Layfield is an American professional wrestling color commentator, retired professional wrestler, and former football player. He is signed to WWE, where he is an ambassador and commentator for the company. He has performed under the name Bradshaw, as part of the Acolytes Protection Agency, and later as the heel character JBL.
Ron Simmons is an American former professional wrestler and football player. He is best known for his tenures in WWE and World Championship Wrestling (WCW). Before becoming a professional wrestler, Simmons played football as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL), Canadian Football League (CFL), and United States Football League (USFL) for four seasons during the 1980s. He performed under the name Faarooq Asaad and under his own name in the APA with John Layfield.
The panel was recorded on June 28th, 2025, in Buffalo, NY. It was moderated by “Zeus.”
