This is an interview with a WWII veteran who served with the 37th Infantry Division fighting the Japanese over several years. He witnessed a lot of combat and this is just a portion of his interview. He covers fighting on New Georgia and the Philippine islands in this episode. He spent three years overseas in filthy conditions fighting against a suicidal enemy that would rather die than give up.
