The Wurth Time-Sert is a great way to repair stripped or damaged threads. This works much better than a heli-coil type insert as the time-sert inserts are solid, unlike heli-coils which are like a coiled spring. If you need to repair a stripped thread and you can’t drill it out and tap the hole to the next size up, the Time-sert is a great option.
