One thing I also didnt talk about in the video:
Even if you can average very fast without lots of algs, something else in your solve has to work a LOT harder in order to keep up. In Collins case, F2L is his strong point and helps carry his solve. Something has to make up for the lack of algs the faster you get. Theres really no reason to make that so difficult for yourself.
In this video, the reason I can get away with 14-15 second averages with LBL and 4LLL is because I can turn really fast and look ahead fairly well. So in this case, my turning and look ahead make up for the fact that Im not using OLL and PLL or even F2L.
