Last week was an unbelievable week for me...
I had the chance to travel to the USA for the first time of my life and also had the chance to participate at the World Sport Stacking Championships 2018 - my first WSSC ever.
So two dreams came true at once!
And that's not even the end: I also became a four times world champion at this competition (and a world record holder) what I've never dreamed of! My best tournament experience so far...
I'm soo hyped for worlds 2019!
My results in overview:
3-3-3: 2.27 (3rd place)
3-6-3: 2.89 (4th place)
Cycle: 8.50 (2nd place)
Doubles: 10.92 (1st place)
3-6-3 Timed Relay: 15.82 (1st place + divisional WR)
3-6-3 HTH-Relay: 1st place
Cycle HTH-Relay: 1st place

Last weekend, the last tournament of the German season 2018/2019 took place in Speichersdorf. Though Im a bit disappointed for some results, my team and I did really well.
The most thing which annoys me is my Cycle final because my main goal was to get an seasonal average of 7.xx seconds. I needed a 8.046 or faster to get it, but I just got a 8.307 which gives me an 8.03 average... :/
But surprisingly, Ive managed to reach podium in all three individual events (3/2/3). Ive also got 3rd place in doubles and first place in Cycle HTH relay.
Unfortunately the 14.52 got scratched afterwards because of a foot fault, so weve got 2nd place instead of 1st place. But we were able to get another 14.xx in SOC, so weve still got 1st place overall. :)
Next tournament is going to be the WSSC in Spain. Im ready for it!

First speedcubing competition of the year! A few surprising PBs but also many fails like always. ;)
I also competed at FMC this time just to get an official mean result. In my first attempt, I got a solution by 38 moves. The second scramble was hard for me and I couldnt find any good finishes. I struggled so hard that I couldnt even write a solution down in time, so this one was a DNF. For the third scramble, I found a 43 move solution after 25 minutes and at this point, I wasnt motivated anymore to look for a better one.

This was the last tournament before summer vacation. Individuals werent satisfying at all, but doubles were awesome! My previous official doubles record was 8.33, and now we managed to smash it twice in a row!
