In this video series called, Beyond the Page, I'm trying something new. This is not a book review. I'm looking at aspects of books I admire and studying what is interesting, different, fresh and cool about the books.

The books being analysed today are The Incorruptibles by John Hornor Jacobs. All three books in the trilogy have been published by Gollancz.

The second book discussed is The Grey Bastards by Jonathan French. The first two books have been published and the third in the trilogy comes out in September 2021.
