Made prominent use of the physical world this time around! The only other time I’ve done something like this was in missadaxio round 12998, but I think it’s important that concepts like these are brought to more casual tennis matches
I would like to do more matches like this in the future and make more serves like the one for this match. I’m inspired by genres like Onkyo and Drone and I wanna bring that kinda energy into tennis

One video I’m still very proud of is my secret santa gift for B33K33P3R, it marked my long awaited return to this channel, it made for a very good and communicative gift with my recipient (seriously, b33 is so lucky they got someone who actually understood a lot of their esoteric interests lmao) who just so happened to be one of my favourite YTPers and at the time a new friend I was making, and overall I genuinely think it’s my best video if not one of my best, even though I stayed up for 40 hours on the last day of making it, that temporary loss of sanity was so worth it. So during the process of making my gift for b33k33p3r, I left a good chunk of stuff on the cutting room floor because I wasn’t really proud enough of them or didn’t know how to fit them into the gift, but I’ve now decided to compile all that stuff into what is essentially this video, as I’ve since grown to like a lot of the outtakes I had
When I was initially making the gift I noticed b33k33p3r listed “yay yay” and “new hampshire” in their source list with no additional context, which is very vague to go off of lol, but a few months after I finished the gift and the secret santa event ended, I eventually stumbled upon what is very likely the “new hampshire” source b33 was referring to, and it was a very early recording from 2008 of Adam Demirjian doing a jam session with people from an old forgotten band “Interrobang!”, which is actually very fitting considering I used brave little abacus in the original gift. There’s something about the new hampshire video that strikes a chord with me, it just feels so dreamy and nostalgic in a way, like I’m in 2008 right there with them, so even though this video is supposed to be a compilation of old outtakes I think it’d be a disservice if I didn’t include “New Hampshire” in this video, so I’ve decided to throw in edits of it within all the other old stuff presented here, but outside of the new hampshire edits, this video is entirely late 2023 and early 2024 (except for the outline, shadow and chroma key of the asian guy trailing at the end. The trail itself and the video it transitions into are from 2023 but the outline shadow and chroma key transition are all entirely new)
I’m quite excited for the next secret santa, it seems like a fun event, and depending on who I get I will say I don’t think I’m gonna go this “hard” next time, as I don’t really have the need to as my gift for b33 was a very special and rare moment where the stars aligned perfectly, and that doesn’t really need to be recaptured")
