The Sandvik Wriggle Bolting System is designed to support the installation of rock bolts with resin anchors in larger diameter drill holes. The wriggle section enhances resin mixing and increases load transfer by expanding the effective bolt diameter.
Available in two options, the Sandvik T20 and T24 Wriggle Bolts are suited for different ground conditions and performance requirements. The T20 delivers a typical yield strength of 185 kN and tensile strength of 215 kN, while the T24 offers a yield strength of 244 kN and tensile strength of 288 kN. A reliable shear pin breakout system enables fast tensioning to the roof.
Correct hole diameter, depth, and preparation are critical for optimal performance. The system is compatible with standard resin installation practices and is available in lengths from 1.5 m to 3.0 m, with custom lengths available on request. Corrosion protection options include hot-dip galvanizing or alternative coatings.
