The main timesave comes from the cloud sideflip strategy, and utilising it to perform new movement on the final planet. These sideflips are very difficult to execute, giving you a small frame window to time them. Chaining them throughout the level is very difficult. Furthermore, the landing cancel on the final planet is frame perfect, causing more obstacles when trying to optimise this stage. This IL took me a few months to beat, grinding it on-and-off.

Huge credit to PurpleSun for his discovery of the skip to the last planet from the first, utilising the remount strategy found by nemi43 last summer. This skip saves roughly 8 seconds over the RTA viable flutter to the 3rd planet, and more than 30 seconds over doing the stage casually. Unfortunately, due to the cycle of the moving platforms at the end it does not save all the time it has the potential for.
