PaintSkate8 | [WR] Ocarina of Time All Medallions (No PFC) Speedrun in 34:11 @PaintSkate8 | Uploaded November 2020 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
You can catch me doing speedruns live at twitch.tv/paintskate8
The No PFC stands for No Partial-Function Calls, which is simply one application of SRM. Partial Function Calls would reduce this run down to simply doing Title File (a glitch that gives you every item in the game), which takes about 7 minutes, and is not a very fun or interesting speedrun. This run makes use of Function Pointer Manipulation, which allows us to receive items from a butterfly in this instance. This is used to cut out a lot of the movement from the No SRM version, reducing the time by almost half.
