Midnight Club: Street Racing run on PCSX2 in 60 FPS
The change to settings I mentioned was enabling "Fast CDVD"
which increases disc access which only affects loading time speeds.
This run was also run on 60 FPS where 30 FPS is default, this makes the game run a little faster which affects nearly everything with how the game makes decisions making it a significantly different route enough to warrant its own category. I'm uncertain if actual hardware runs would be vastly different as I do not have access to a PS2 nor the funds to aquire one :(
Sorry about the little reverb in the mic, think my gain was too high when recording oops. Also tried to remove as many plosives from the commentary track as possible, got a couple things wrong about the run but who cares I can always correct it in any future updates or in a more "How I Did It" style video. If you'd be interested in something like "Breaking Speed Limits to Finish MC:SR in 1 hour" leave a comment below because I'd love to bring that to you if there's enough interest.
