I finally did a 100% speedrun of Hot Wheels Velocity X and recorded it! Yes, I did purposely plan to upload this on the 15-year anniversary of Hot Wheels Velocity X, which is actually today, in case you didn't know. Now, what I need to talk about is what went wrong with this run, and why it could be much faster. As you probably know, I use a hidden Atom Blaster in the first race in Mission 3 to disable Nitro really fast, and beat the Mission really quick, compared to just racing to the ends of both races normally. This saves a lot of time, and works out great in this run... Except not really. Let me explain: if you race to the ends of both of the races, you win the Mission as intended. After winning the second race, the game says "New car unlocked!!! Jaded" and says "New level unlocked!!! Turbine Sands". With the strategy that I use to defeat Nitro and beat the Mission, it doesn't say either of these, because I preformed a sequence break. After beating the Mission that way in the run, I didn't unlock Nitro, and didn't unlock Turbine Sands as a Joyride level. Later on in the run when I'm finishing it off by completing all of the Joyride levels, I realize that Turbine Sands is locked, so I end up having to completely redo Mission 3, and beat it the correct way to unlock Jaded and Turbine Sands so I can get all of the Gears and get the Hidden Key to complete Turbine Sands as a Joyride level which is necessary towards 100% completion. That was most definitely something that cost me some time in the run, and is a mistake that I won't make again if I do a 100% run in the future.

Mission 2 skip: Went perfectly.
Mission 3 skip: Don't do this in a 100% run ever again.
Mission 5 skip: Went perfectly.
Mission 6 skip: Went perfectly.
Mission 10 skip: Went perfectly.

One more thing to mention that is very important: this run uses a COMPLETELY different route than the previous 100% WR by SrakS. I do the Challenges first, and acquire various Cheats (Cheats are optional for the 100% category), while the previous 100% WR by SrakS didn't involve getting Cheats. Also, the most difficult part of the run is collecting enough Bonus Point spheres in Challenge 8, which you have to collect 11 of. I had to restart the run MANY times because I kept messing that up, and I couldn't even believe it when I got all of the spheres in time, I actually thought I wouldn't be able to do it in time, considering the shaky start to the Challenge.
I'm glad I finally did a 100% speedrun of the game. Happy 15th anniversary to Hot Wheels Velocity X!
