wowaka passed away April 5, 2019 due to sudden heart failure while he was sleeping. He was 31.

This was his last vocaloid song to my knowledge when he returned to the vocaloid world in 2017.

I think his last tweet was bittersweet:

"令和きれいだー。"

Which roughly translates to: "The new era name is 'Reiwa', it's pretty."

May he rest well...
