It's the beginning of the 2020 crop year for our California rice operation. Pops kicks it off by taking all the tractors out of the barn and I do some draining.

We have our Case Magnum 245, 260 and 340 out so we can change their oil and use them to move around and repair out implements. We'll start by changing the chisel teeth on our plow chisels.

We're draining our rice fields of the winter water that was decomposing last year's rice straw. I point out a low spot in the field that gave us trouble during last year's spring tractor work. Covered in this tractor video:
