The beauty of Maragondon River as seen through a banca tour. I requested the tricycle guy to bring me to the river for a possible banca tour around. I saw where he brought me as we entered the Pinagsanhan A welcome arch. A little walk from the arch and a few steps to go down are parked motorized small boats or bancas.
The hospitable banca owner wanted to show until the far places of the river but the guy with the tricycle would have waited for so long that I decided to cut the river cruise short. He told me to pay whatever I felt. I decided to hand 250 pesos for about a 20 minute ride. Though I thought I should have given 300 pesos. The tricycle fare was 200 from here to Saulog bus (Bus bound to PITX or near Pasay Rotonda) terminal along the highway. Bus ride going to PITX is 75 pesos.
To get here in Maragondon, ride a Ternate bus at PITX. Tell the bus conductor to drop you off at PUP Maragondon. Fare is about 75 Pesos, for an hour and 20 minutes ride, via Cavitex. Upon reaching stop at PUP Maragondon, get a tricycle for 120 to 150 Pesos (3 passengers) to bring you to the banca station at Pinagsanhan A.
