Camouflage must include something scary.
I recently played a game called MECCHA CHAMELEON. As I used paint mode to blend in with my surroundings, I felt a shiver. I stood up quickly. That's odd, I hadn't noticed, but the lights were out. The digital clock on the wall was out. No power? But the computer was still on?
Rather than going to check the breakers I decided to prioritize gaming. As I sat back down, I was shocked to discover I had already been camouflaged into the wall. The shading was clean, the color choices impeccable. I was undetectable! Except for one blemish. A scribble of some kind. I slowly zoomed in with my mouse wheel. It was writing. Incredibly small and hard to decipher. I zoomed in more. I could start to make out the words. I whispered them out loud:
'I AM THE WALL NOW'
Suddenly my screen went black and a face was staring at me. I almost screamed. Then I let out a sigh of relief. It was just my reflection in the blank monitor.
Wait. I couldn't sigh. Couldn't scream. It was hard to breath, my mouth was covered with something... couldn't move! Can't move an inch! The only sound I could make was a low moan, which whistled out into the darkness.
My reflection exhaled and leaned back. A grin spread across his face as he softly spoke: 'I AM YOU NOW.'
