Testing my new hard shell and waterproof gear in Scottish monsoon conditions! Purchased new Jottnar hard shells (HODR jacket and Vanir LT trousers) in their annual sale. Also purchased new Salomon X -Ultra Trek GTX boots and a Lomo 40L roll top water proof rucksack. The gear is not cheap , so did it stand up to some typically damp Scottish weather???
