A spontaneous request was followed just a few weeks later by the production. Andy Little, a filmmaker from England, visited Worries And Other Plants in Switzerland to realize this project.
Andy Little has been shooting primarily on 16mm film for the past fifteen years, mostly because he’s obsessed with the way it looks. There’s something about that grain and texture you get from vintage equipment—especially his trusty Bolex camera—that digital just can’t replicate and with the group Worries And Other Plants, two lovers have found each other!
"In Numbers" mostly shows the band in their usual environment: on the way to concerts, in the van, on stage, simply wherever they are. The goal wasn't to create something artificial—but something real!
The core message of "In Numbers" is about being mindful in our coexistence as a society. "Teach me how to hate and I will draw you a picture made of war! Teach me how to paint and I will draw you a picture made of love!" And in today's difficult times, it's even more important to draw pictures with love – because hate will never unite people.
