Worle School, Weston-Super-Mare has been given the worst rating a school can get by an Ofsted Report.
Children at a school where a pupil was stabbed are afraid to go to some areas of the school site because they are "not safe".
A 15-year-old boy was stabbed at Worle Community School in March this year, with two teenagers arrested in connection with the attack.
They have since been released on bail.
Children have been warned they will be body searched without consent.
Complaints by parents led to an investigation last month by education regulators Ofsted, which has released its report into problems at the school.
Rated Inadequate – the worst possible rating – in every department, the school in Weston-super-Mare has fallen dramatically from its Good rating two years ago.
Headmaster Pete Binding has now left the school.
