our tour continues with more desert flying as we depart Adrar Algeria and land in Sabha Libya. Sabha is an oasis city 400 miles south of Tripoli and it has a population of 99,000 people. It is also the hometown of Muammar Gaddafi and the airport used to house Libyan Mig-25 fighter jets and TU-22 bombers, and the city was seized by LNA forces during the civil war and in 2017 the airport re opened with Araiyah airways flying to Benghazi and Libyan wings flying to Tripoli. Key sites include the fort Elena castle and the Sabha university.
