Hoofbag's latest build, an attempt at building a small valve battery amplifier for guitar. No doubt someone will notify about smaller one. There have been all valve battery amplifiers uploaded to this channel before but here, I've used the same schematic squeezed into a smaller case: about 10cm X 10cm X 9cm approx. Output is 200mW from a Mullard DL96. The other valves are DAF96 X 2 as preamp/intermediate amp stage. I built it more as a personal challenge. I'm prompted by YouTube movies about watch making, admiring the skill going into making these engineering miracles, which they are, especially the mechanical ones built into a ring. There will be a future attempt at building a smaller one but the issue of how small it can get before it's of little practical use is relevant. Blackcorvo has built a small valve amp so I include a link:

This item is of practical use as a practice amp, helpful in my attempt not to be such a lousy guitarist.
