For World Roller Coaster Appreciation Month, parks around the world participated in the fourth annual largest simultaneous dispatch of roller coasters to celebrate the anniversary of LaMarcus Thompson's Switchback Railway, the first modern roller coaster. Parks will fill a train with coaster enthusiasts or park guests and dispatch together at 2 PM EDT on June 16, 2025.

Founded in 1978, American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) is a nonprofit organization of more than 7000 members from 16 countries.
