Before you leave an angry comment, I turned off TNT explosions while building the door, because while the door is being built, the TNT can explode. However, once it's finished, I turn them back on and show that the door does open and close properly without blowing up. If you don't wish to do this, you can not place TNT in the door frame until you have finished the redstone.
I could not find any reference to one of these having existed before, but if I'm wrong, let me know.
