No child chooses to be a refugee. They do not choose to flee their homes, to leave their schools, friends, and lives behind.
However, what they do choose is to keep hoping for the possibility of a better life. They hope for a life free from war and violence. They hope for a chance to go back to school. They hope for the chance to be children once again.
