World eX and #racingfortheclimate are heading to Sepang on August 30 for the Malaysian eX Prix presented by Absolute Racing supporting LAMAVE. Expect thrilling racing with the 1,000 hp all-alectric eX ZERO prototypes on one of the most difficult circuits of the season.
Nine professional teams hold an exclusive license to compete in the World eX Championship: Absolute Racing (China), ACER VERO R8G (France), Biela Racing Team EURONICS (Germany), BS+COMPETITION (Germany), Esports Team WRT (Belgium), NIANCO esports (Switzerland), Patrick Long Esports (USA), TK9 E-SPeeD (Denmark) and Williams Esports (United Kingdom).
Frank Biela, Romain Grosjean, Tom Kristensen, Patrick Long, Nico Müller, Alessio Picariello, Bruno Senna, Bruno Spengler and Vincent Vosse are the Team Principals and they have until race day 10:00 UTC to decide their driver line-ups.
Each team has to compete with one PRO driver and one ESPORTS racer. Expect some big names on the grid.
The teams' cars are competing for the World Championship title. TK9 E-SPeeD's "Danish Dynamite" is leading the standings heading into the Malaysian eX Prix followed by ACER VERO R8G's "Vero 88".
Each team is connected to a climate preservation project. Absolute Racing is supporting the Large Marine Vertebrates Research Institute Philippines (LAMAVE).
