Nearly 80 years after he went missing, World War II veteran Floyd Harper was laid to rest in Skiatook, Oklahoma on Monday.
Floyd was on a city barge when it overturned, leaving his loved ones searching for decades.
That changed when Tulsa Police Homicide Detective Brandon Watkins matched Floyd's DNA to remains found in 1985. Floyd's daughter says she's grateful she knows how her father's story ends.
"I'm just so happy he gets to be with his momma now," said his daughter, Linda Schrader.
