Though we have little understanding of this grand structure, it is easy to be humbled by its descriptions, knowing it was given the entire second day of creation to be hammered out. From what we do know according to scriptures, it separates the earth from the vast amounts of waters above it, that it is made from a physical and/or spiritual substance, and various other descriptions. As we are unable to free explore all of the earth due to governments, politics, and the military, it is seemingly unfortunate that we cannot confirm this fact with touch, as handfuls of evidence suggest as the scriptures explain that the Firmament does indeed exist! Why would the hide it? Is the Firmament just the sky?
