Wow! This is a song I remixed all the way back in 2009 but it was never formerly released because the video that was planned for it was never finished. Additionally, merely synching the remix to the original video wouldn't work because it would desync at various points. This was a challenging video because of the low resolution footage and having to essentially re-splice the entire thing from scratch and add some more footage to fill in the gaps. At the time, I wasn't an editor, so I couldn't do it myself, but since I've been editing all these years since then I realized I could do it myself. The end result I'm very happy with.
Hissing Harp (formerly known as Little Tundra) added some spices and herbs to the track to modernize it a bit and add a bit to the texture. This song always felt about 95% done to me, so having Harp's contributions really helped realize the track's potential. I'm glad I could collaborate with him once again (check out our other songs under the LT&L name on my channel).
Hope you all like it, this is a real throwback track, the original song came out in 1995, the remix in 2009, and now the finished product in 2024. Time flies, enjoy!
