Nice to see you also got this piece. It's, in my opinion, the best one Blizzard has released yet.
It was extremely difficult to remove the hand too, and I even hurt myself by doing it. In the end, I also decided not to test my luck a second time.
This piece is full of lore details. Thrall is a character that has evolved lots since he was first introduced in Warcraft III. They put as much lore details as they could in one statue.
- The base is probably from Ogrimmar, the main city hub of the Horde. He was its founder and Warchief for a while.
- The armor and hammer are from his friend and mentor Ogrim Doomhammer. He inherited them when he died.
- The ax is from his father, Durotar. The former leader of the Frostwolf clan. The wolf fur from the bottom of his armor is also from them. This is his main weapon in the latest expansion.
- The scars on his back are from his time being a slave by the humans. He was a slave most of his early life. Nice touch to remove his chest armor piece, so we could see them.
- The necklace is a gift from the female human that released him from slavery.
- The face reminds me of the cinematic from Warcraft III. His face design has changed since then.
- I'm sure there are more details, but those are the ones I can think of now. I'm not sure about the fang in his belt, for example."
