$$$ The Money Trail $$$ & The Original Fake News
In this Chapter, we see how the proverbial "root of all evil"... MONEY... does indeed rule the day and most certainly was the factor that drove the United States into World War 1.
Take note of dates... and watch how the "Kings of Wall Street" poured Billion$ ... literally... into the Triple Entente (the Allies - Britain, France and Russia) for over 2 years, and yet by early 1917, despite the best efforts Wall Street could buy (Britain, France and Russia were broke by then), but despite all the money and war materials Wall Street could throw at it, it looked like Germany was well on its way to winning the war... which of course would spell doom for the "Kings of Wall Street" (something the du Pont's even testified to)...
If Germany were to win the war, what do you think happens to the "Kings of Wall Street" investment of over $2 Billion dollars in loans and materials to the Allies???
As noted, the Allies were broke by this point, and $1.5 Billion dollars in private Wall Street loans (plus another huge amount of war materials on credit) would have all been lost with absolutely no recourse, should Germany have won the war.
Also to note... where do you suppose the bulk of the private Wall Street money was spent???... well ... back to the very same industries owned by the "Kings of Wall Street" that produced the war materials being shipped over to them on ships like the Lusitania or the La Touraine...
And as the title says, we'll have a close look at... the Original Fake News... and there certainly was PLENTY of "FAKE NEWS" and propaganda going on over 100 years ago... and we'll get to see who was behind it... at least according to the U.S. Government ;)
