A little improvised video performing the piece INDIAN BHAJAN from the album MYSTIC LANDS.
A bhajan is a spiritual Hindustani style of music. This is inspired by an old melody I heard a lot while living in India. I was never able to find out what was the name of the original song. However, part of the melody still lingers in my head since them. So I made up a melody using the bits I could remember from the original composition. All set to Raga Bageshri.
All of it played on slide guitar making homage to the Mohan Veena or Indian Slide guitar.
