Alright, in a few hours I am departing to singapore!
And as a departing "gift", I have unlisted a video I made two months ago: World End - Code Geass OP2 - full version.
I made this after I finished recording "Sora to Kimi no Message".
Everything is improvised.
Well then, wish me good luck in Singapore! See you then!

![Kizuna Music - BanG Dream! S2 OP [Piano]

This is another special type arrangement and its the first Ballad type arrangement since my Nagi no Asukara Piano Medley in 2014. Initially, I wanted to upload a piano cover from the current Anime Season, but... for some reason, I didnt felt any inspiration at all and couldnt finish any of my started projects.
So instead, I made an arrangement of something Ive always wanted to cover and thats of course a song from BanG Dream!
I have started playing BanG Dream! since July 2019 and I have went very deep into the rabbit hole of Gacha Hell Mobile Games. But I have no regrets: the Characters are really well written and their original Songs are simply addicting.
I have many favorite Bandori Songs, but Kizuna Music is probably the only one, which I will never grow tired of.
Since the original song is a powerful Rock song from start to finish, I was initially planning to do a similar fast-paced piano arrangement. But I thought.... why not try something different for once? How would Kizuna Music sound if it has been composed as a piano song from the very beginning? And from this point on, more and more ideas flew in and I transformed the original song into a slow Ballad type arrangement.
While arranging this song, I also remembered my humble beginnings as an piano arranger: Just the melody and very basic accompaniment, nothing else. It is the very essence of piano music, and I almost forgot how good simplicity can sound on the piano. In terms of my personal arrangement progress, this is probably the spiritual successor of my Snow Halation (Love Live!) arrangement from 2016 . While the first one is focused on utilizing all aspects of piano technique, this one is focused to draw out the music from the piano.
I also included an Easter egg for all the BanG Dream players in this arrangement: just imagine that !FEVER! is popping up at 5:42.
To be honest, in the last few weeks, I was pondering what my role on YouTube should be in the future. Due to my infrequent upload rate - mainly because of my own obsession with perfectionism - I cannot become a regular Youtuber. To be honest, I am still surprised how someone un-Youtube-ish like me has made it so far. I mean, my video editing is basic, I dont follow trending topics, and I only upload occasionally...
And yet, 1.5 Million people has subscribed me.
For this, I will always be grateful.
Therefore, thank you for listening my videos and as always, I will continue doing my best.

![Boys be Smile - Little Busters!: Refrain OP [Piano]
Im back again for the fall anime season 2013 and my first piano cover for this season is the Little Busters Refrain Opening, Boys Be smile.
Finally! The continuation of Little Busters anime is here! I cant wait for the finale, there will be massive amount of feels ;_;
This piano cover was supposed to be one of my easier transcriptions but after edting and editing, the sheet turned out a bit more difficult than I intended.
I expanded the TV size OP by appending an excerpt of boys dont cry, a BGM in the LIttle Busters Visual Novel, since the OP itself is based on this particular piece.
I have also improved my audio by using EQs and compressor, the sound quality is really good now! (at least as good as it gets with my current microphones)
Also, I added a small watermark-link on the lower left corner, because I am fed up with people stealing my videos. Hope you dont mind.

Ah, K-ON! These were really good times. I could never forget the moment, when I was watching the awesome ending animation of episode 1 while listening [dont say lazy] for the first time. I really cant believe K-ON! has aired more than a decade ago. K-ON! was so hyped back then, it attracted an equal amount of both haters and hardcore fans and they were fighting with each other on the internet constantly. These were really good old times (笑).
Anyway, recording this weeks upload was more exhausting than expected, because this is one of the most intense arrangements I have done for a while. Its basically FULL POWER from start to finish, without any breaks. It also holds a record for the largest number of glissando I have ever used in my arrangements: 8 times in total. (including a two-hand glissando in 3:28)
This arrangement requires quite a lot of stamina for the left hand because it is constantly playing alternating rhythmic patterns throughout the whole piece - like a drummer. Thanks to a certain rhythm game I have been playing since 2019, I started to focus more on the rhythmic variations in the left hand, whenever I am improvising a new song.
The biggest challenge of this arrangement was actually figuring out the unique melody pattern for the bridge part in 3:01. I still have no idea what kind of musical scale I was using but it does a good job building up a lot of tension leading to the climax in 3:05.
I have to say, its been a while since I have so much fun recording a new piece because I rarely have the opportunity to play fortissimo for almost 4 minutes nonstop. I particularly enjoyed playing these rhythmic variations the left hand. In fact, in one of my earlier takes, I was subconsciously stomping my left foot while playing to match the rhythm and it was so loud, it even became audible in the recording. I needed to record a new take again (笑)
No idea what I am going to cover next week though.
Definitely another nostalgia Anime song I guess but I still havent decided yet.
In any case -
see you next week!

![Main Theme - Detective Conan OST [Piano]
Sheet music → https://mymusic.st/animenzzz/62803
This week’s upload is everyones favorite Detective Conan Main Theme!
This particular theme is playing in the background whenever Conan is capturing a culprit in the climax scene (usually by kicking something very, very hard). Basically: This is the piece where “One Truth Prevails!”
I have been improvising this piece many times in my live concerts, but for this week, I decided to arrange an official version for YouTube.
After researching a little bit on YouTube, I was surprised that the Main Theme is arranged differently for each of the 23 Detective Conan Movies. Each version features different instrumentation, slight melody modifications and a unique bridge part. Most of the time the main melody is being played by the legendary Saxophone, but there are also versions being played by the trumpet, electronic guitar, violins, horn, and so on. It was really hard to choose from all these variations so I have come up with an arrangement that represents three different versions.
The first intro pattern is probably the most well-known one, since its also used as the Main Theme in the TV series (and also in Movie Nr. 4). The second intro in 01:06 has a unique flowing movement and it has been featured in only three movies (5, 6, and 9), but its my personal favorite pattern.
And finally, the third intro pattern is being introduced in 02:11. Its probably the most popular variation so far, because it has been used in more than 10 different movies so far. Especially the rhythmic energy is very addicting and thats why I used it as the final intro pattern for this Main Theme arrangement.
Unfortunately, I couldnt include any bridge part for this arrangement because there are simply too many variations to choose from. I think I will just improvise the bridge part for my future live concerts then.
Well, that’s it!
I hope you enjoyed my piano arrangement of Detective Conan Main Theme with the three different intro patterns! I think for next week, I am going to arrange another nostalgia Anime song. Stay safe everyone and as usual -
see you next week!

The second song of my top 6 best Shounen OPs - piano series has finally been uploaded: Resonance - the first OP song from Soul Eater by T.M. Revolution!
Sorry for the delayed upload everyone. I was really sick in the last two weeks and it took me a while to fully recover. Initially I wanted to upload a new video every week, but well.... sometimes the body needs a rest.
Anyway, this piano cover follows closely the original song by T.M. Revolution, the only thing I added was a slightly extended ending part, because the original song simply fades out (and I think this is pretty difficult to imitate on an acoustic piano...)
The difficulty for this piece is higher than usual (although its still a bit easier than my previous arrangement again) because of the fast tempo. But fortunately, many techniques in this sheet are repeating themselves, so you dont have to worry about learning too many new piano skills in order to master this song.
In order to properly play this song, you require a lot of stamina in both hands, because the left hand is constantly spamming the bass ostinato octaves while the right hand is playing a lot of tremolos in the higher register. (After practicing this piece for almost 3 hours, my hands are both completely dead and I needed a long sleep to fully recover the next day)
Well then, that would be my piano cover of the first opening song of Soul Eater.
My next project for my top 6 Shounen OPs-piano series is Blue Bird from Naruto Shippuuden.
See you next week!

![Ao no Sumika (Where Our Blue is) - Jujutsu Kaisen S2 OP1 [Piano] / Tatsuya Kitani
This is my piano arrangement of Ao no Sumika – the first OP theme of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 by Tatsuya Kitani. It’s definitely one of my favorite Anime OP songs in 2023 because I simply love how “blue” the song is: The sudden quiet dynamics in the intro 0:04, the endless calm atmosphere in the verse 0:10, the subtle “school bells” echoing in the bridge 1:53. It’s like the music is inviting us to dive into a clear blue summer sky and I tried to capture the “blue” atmosphere in the piano as much as possible.
① Allowing the piano to “breathe”
I included many horizontal movements in the piano to give the piano a vast and open texture, mirroring the “blue” atmosphere of the original song. For example, in the first verse 0:10 the left hand is playing a subtle counter melody without being too rhythmic. And in the 2nd verse 1:28, the right hand is playing an ornamentation in a very high range without interfering with the main melody too much.
② The true MVP of the powerful chorus melody
The unique left-hand pattern played an important role in the chorus 0:48. I wanted to emphasize the syncopation of the drums as much as possible and as a result I used precise pedaling to give the left hand a short moment of pause before each syncopation. There is always a lot of trial and error involved to find the best pattern for the left hand. But once I can “hear” the original song with the left hand alone, it’s a good accompaniment.
③ Finale: From Blue to Purple
Since the atmosphere of the song is “blue”, I let the piano soar into the blue sky in 3:13 by playing a seemingly endless scale which goes higher and higher. It ends with an “open” chord Gbmaj7 (IV) in 3:20, which is quite rare for my arrangement because I usually end with a Tonic chord (I). But in this case, the “open” chord is perfect to make the arrangement sound “infinite”. Which means, the arrangement has finally reached new limitless state - Hollow Technique: Purple.
Last but not least, have you noticed the genius sound direction in episode 5? The “applause” sound has been haunting Geto for a long time after his failed mission and I love how they overlapped the sound of the showers and the rain drops with the sound of applause in certain scenes. It’s an excellent depiction of Getos deteriorating mental state by using that cursed “applause” sound. I hope we can look forward for more of these creative sound direction in future Jujutsu Kaisen episodes!
Alright, that would be everything for today. In every new upload I try to explain my arranging philosophy a little bit and I hope other pianist might find it helpful to create their own arrangement.
See you next time again!

Thank you for coming back to my channel!
Three months ago I went separate ways with my former management and it resulted into a long, legal battle. But the good news is, it will be settled this month and both parties can finally move on.
However, my grand piano still hasnt arrived yet because the final negotiation with my former management is still going on, so I couldnt upload anything the whole time. But after seeing the 11th year Animenz anniversary video yesterday from the Anime Piano Community, I knew that I HAD to do something to repay that favor.
[Special Piano Collaboration video from the Anime Piano Community]
https://youtu.be/_iaXe74rQ4Y
So I went to a professional piano studio today and I spent a few hours to re-record an old fan-favorite: 「This Game」 from 「No Game No Life」!
I used my 「This Game」 piano cover from 2014 as a reference but I also changed a few parts to fit my current arrangement style. Instead of focusing on arpeggios too much like in the past, this version has a better rhythmic structure and its also more accurate to the original song from Konomi Suzuki. To be honest, its been a while since I have recorded in front of a camera and I felt almost like a beginner again, haha.
But here I am, back to YouTube. I have to say I really missed you guys and I hope I can continue doing Anime Piano for the foreseeable future as well.
Because starting today, Animenz will begin a new chapter. And the people in the Anime Piano community made me realize that being a part of a community is truly the most rewarding thing you can get as a creator.
Thank you for listening and thank you for all your support during the last 3 months!
It really helped me a lot to overcome all the troubles and I cannot thank you enough for never losing faith in me. I will definitely continue doing my best.
And with that said - see you next week again!
In the special event. (see below)

Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai might be the most difficult to remember Anime title of all time, but the story about Menma and her strong bond with her childhood friends is still unforgotten until today. This song is truly another classic in the history of Anime music and until today, I still listen to this song whenever I need a break from my everyday life.
Arranging a slow, lyrical song for the piano is always a special challenge for me. Because you have to somehow convey the special atmosphere of the original song with the sound of piano alone. But at the same time, you have to utilize the right amount of musical ornaments or else it would disturb the flow of music too much.
Since a piano has only limited ways to replicate a humans voice (I really wish I can utilize a vibrato-sound like a violin on the piano...) I have to think of various ways how to properly reflect the structure the music, so that it truly feels like the music itself is telling you a story. The first chorus is deliberately held back without playing any deep bass notes, because I wanted to slowly build up the tension for the later parts of this song. The goal of this arrangement is the culmination of feelings in the final chorus and thats why the bass keys are only utilized in the very last moment in 4:03.
A rather special part of this arrangement would be the solo voice part at 3:19, where only the right hand is playing. I have only this technique once in the beginning part of Madoka Magica Soundtrack Medley (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xVyBmkEZX4) and it really feels like the music has stopped for a moment so the voice alone can shine.
All in all, this arrangement is probably one of the easier piano pieces I have arranged and the feeling of nostalgia is especially strong with this one. I still cant believe AnoHana has aired almost 9 years ago. Time surely passes when when you get older...
Well then, thats it for this weeks upload!
For next weeks video, I think I will arrange a song from one of my favorite Anime of all time. Its a very familiar song, and I am pretty sure most of my listeners here have been waiting for this arrangement for a long time.
See you next time then!

![The song of Aether [original piano composition]
Sheet music → https://mymusic.st/animenzzz/57238
I had a very weird dream yesterday evening. I was walking aimlessly in the night sky, quietly watching the stars when suddenly, a faint melody was playing in the background. It a was very simple melody, but it sounded strangely familiar.
I am not sure whether this is a real own composition or whether it was inspired by a existing melody - strange things can happen in your dreams.
Still, I thought it was very beautiful moment, when I realized that I was actually hearing a melody in my dream (which only happens like once or twice in a year)
The melody repeated itself endlessly and I was dancing in the sky until I eventually vanished and then finally woke up.
I immediately went to the piano and tried to reproduce the melody as good as I could, before I completely forgot it.
After 3 hours (and a lot of experimenting) I finally completed the sheet.
I could only write down fragments from the original melody, since I forgot almost everything. But at least I am sure that the beginning part of this sheet is almost the same as the melody I heard in my dream.
Too bad, I couldnt remember the whole melody from my dream. It was probably one of the most wonderful things I have ever heard.
I decided to call this composition The Song of Aether, because I was walking in the night sky when this melody started to play in my dream.
Well then, regard this as a filler post.
My next project is still blue bird from Naruto shippuuden.
Upload probably next sunday.

![CHANGE THE WORLD - Inuyasha OP1 [Piano]
Sheet music → https://mymusic.st/animenzzz/74147
Its time for another round of nostalgia Anime piano series! And this weeks upload is none other than the first opening of Inuyasha: 「Change the world」! Its definitely one of my favorite OP/ED songs from Inuyasha because the melody of the chorus is absolutely timeless and it has an irresistible positive energy.
Since Inuyasha has played a great role in my childhood, I wanted to make this weeks upload somehow special. I was imagining how would a piano version of 「Change the world」 would sound, if its being used as a BGM in the final episode of Inuyasha? And thus, the idea for a ballad piano version of 「Change the world」 was born.
Ideally, this piano arrangement shouldnt sound like a piano cover anymore, but more like a standalone piano piece, as a part of the original Inuyasha soundtrack. Perhaps one day, I can actually record piano pieces for the official soundtrack of an Anime series in the future.
I took some liberties with some chord progressions in 00:47 and 2:20 between the verse and chorus, to make the key change from A major [chorus] to F major [verse] as natural as possible. The bridge part in 3:35 is also a re-imagination of the original bridge part in 「Change the world」 and it is deliberately arranged to sound like an improvisation. The goal is to further develop the music after the second chorus until it reaches the turning point in 03:51.
What follows after the long pause in 03:59 should be played with the most delicate sound as possible, because in this moment, I was silently saying goodbye to all the characters from Inuyasha. Not gonna lie, I felt quite emotional when I was playing this part during recording. Sometimes, the power of nostalgia can be very powerful.
Last but not least, this piece ends with the chorus melody [G-F#-F#] in 05:04. I still dont want the music (or story) to end, so I played the chorus melody one last time to create an open ending of the music. Perhaps, we will see a continuation of this story in the future.
Well then, thats it for this weeks upload. I hope you enjoyed this special ballad-type piano arrangement and thank you for reading the video description. For next week, I will continue with the nostalgia Anime series and I am going to arrange another from my childhood. See you next week then!

Its here. I finally uploaded the piano cover of Owari no Sekai Kara.
This song is not from an anime, but its a track from the album Owari no hoshi no Love Song by Jun Maeda and Yanagi Nagi.
After months of delay, days of sleepless nights, countless moments of frustration, dropping and un-dropping it several times, this transcription was actually destined to fail and ultimately land in my dropped transcriptions folder.
But... I just.. didnt want to give up so easily.
Because I really wanted to make it happen. I know that countless people are waiting for this. I mean, I made a big announcement to transcribe Owari no sekai kara on Facebook after all, and I dont want to disappoint everyone.
But I just couldnt finish the sheet. I was lacking inspiration. Because this song is pretty straightforward, it doesnt leave any room for fancy piano techniques or transcription ideas.
After countless trial and error, I became frustrated and I decided to just upload a very basic and uninspired sheet of Owari no sekai kara.
However, things have changed after my journey in LA.
When we had the fan-meetup on 12th April, I was amazed to meet all the people, who came all the way to LA, just to see me and Ishter in person. I was happy to see, how much they enjoyed my piano covers, how much I inspired them.
And thats where I finally gained the inspiration to complete the sheet. I completely re-edited the sheet from the scratch and was working every night on this transcription.
I made quick progress and the sheet was almost finished in a few days. As a finishing touch, I added a variation of the main theme - heavily inspired by a Chopin sonata - in the final page of the sheet. Suddenly, the melody is played in a major key!
You ask me why I did that?
Hm... maybe.. just a hunch, but I have a feeling, that the sheet was trying to tell me: You did it! Thank you so much for not forgetting me in the dropped folder! Thank you for not giving up!
And thats why I added the final part, known as good - end.
Well, I think thats the entire story behind the creation of this sheet.
Thank you for reading this wall of text and I hope you enjoyed my piano cover of Owari no Sekai Kara.
