Ben Reads Good | World Cup of Books - 16 countries battle for the title @benreadsgood | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
Apologies this turned out so long, but maybe its my best video so far? I think so. Probably.
This is my take on the World Cup of Books, where I play out silly little matches between books from the 16 actual countries that made it through to the World Cup knockout stages this year.
Here are the videos I was inspired by - go check them out!

Also, a couple of corrections and clarifications:
1) I accidentally said ‘South East Asia’ when talking about Japan and Korea. That’s incorrect, my apologies!
2) Qatar is sadly not an exception when it comes to LGBT rights, and I don’t want to paint it as if it is. The latest data I could find said that homosexuality is still illegal in 67 UN member states. In many places rights are going backwards not forwards, including in Russia, the previous World Cup host. This must be terrifying for LGBT living where it’s illegal to be themselves, and should *always* be called out.
