This is my second full playthrough of the game.
First one took about 11 hours with 2251 deaths.
Before recording I checked the locations of the collectibles to refresh my memory.
Other than that I either remembered or relearned the levels while recording.
This game is surprisingly good. Great even!
I'm liking it even more on my second playthrough.
Original Super Meat Boy is one of my favorite (if not THE favorite) 2D platformer of all time.
This game finally feels like a true sequel. The gameplay translates to 3D really well.
Excellent level design with great variety. And the controls are again some of the best(not necessarily with default settings).
I still don't think this is better than the original. But it doesn't need to be. It's a very different experience overall.
It's also shorter and easier to 100%, but so much fun.
