Hey guys, so here it is, a tutorial! I know you guys have been asking and asking and Ive been saying I would do it and never did, but Im hoping to make a start on some more tutorials soon that branch out from this one, eventually covering all of the subject area I would consider 'basic'. Then maybe move onto different 'difficulties' of the program and keep going and going as I learn more too.
I'm sorry if you already know everything in this video, this is the very first of the basics, and I thought it would be a good idea to get started on the very first things to ensure people watching these are using the program as efficiently as possible. This of course is the workspace. You can create custom workspaces, so you can change all of your tabs, making it easier for you once you have it laid out how you prefer. I then go on to talk about the select tool, and the direct select tool, as these are the first 2 tools on the palette. There isnt a whole lot to show about these 2 tools as they basically do as they say, but I have covered everything that came to mind, and anything I use them for. This tutorial is mainly focusing on the workspace, and the movement and adjustments of anchor points. I hope this tutorial has helped some of you, there should be a part 2 soon I hope; this will probably be the the next few tool in the tool palette. Thanks guy, happy 2015!
Also, sorry about the microphone quality and the clicking you can hear. I'm having to use my MacBook since my desktop is currently broken, so please bare with me while i'm having to use the built in mic.
If you want to keep up with what I am doing, i'm pretty active on my Tumblr blog with updates of my uni projects. Go check it out!

![Speed Art | Serenity [Custom Type]
Hey guys! I have recently started to take hand lettering a bit more serious and really wish to become good at it, this is something i did whilst experimenting with letters, but decided to finish it off and see what i could make of it. Now, ill be the first to admit, it isnt perfect, infact it is far from perfect, but i wanted to upload this not only to share it with you guys, but also as a timeline for my work so i can look back in the future and see where i started and where i am then... I hope you like it, it would be nice to get some feedback?

![Speed Art | Inspire Type [Wall Mural Project]
Hey guys, sorry for being so inactive, but here is why. This video is one of the reasons. We were given a brief which was option, so I decided to take a look since it was called Greenhouse Wall Mural. I eventually found out that it was an office building based in MediaCityUK, and the company wanted some of the students from the University of Salford to come and do some work on their walls. I immediately thought of doing a large type piece on the wall. So I was told I could do my type on the wall, and this it is. I will be doing more work in this room, but this is what I have up to now. I hope you all enjoy it, and again, apologies for the inactivity, I will try and post more, but I cant promise anything.

Hey guys! If you follow any of my social media pages, you will have seen the YouTube type I drew up last week, just for fun and I figured why not vector it and give it out as a free wallpaper as a thank you for 30,000 Subscribers. I made some changes from the original drawing which I think ultimately made it better and gave it a more unique look. Let me know what you think!

Hey guys! Some of you may remember the illustration/logo I created almost a year ago, the Hammerhead shark (link to this video below), well this logotype is for the same client. He showed me a couple of examples of the style he was looking for which was a circular custom logotype, so this is what I came up with and he approved so I went ahead and vectored it. At first, ill admit, I wasnt so sure about this logotype, but as I kept working on it and I made some adjustments, it grew on me and also the client. Overall, I enjoyed working on this project, and I am happy with the outcome, what do you guys think? I always like reading your comments and feedback!
