Martin Donnelly was on the cusp of a promising racing career in F1 when he was involved in a devastating crash...

His Lotus suffered mechanical failure causing him to crash at the Spanish Grand Prix in 1990. He was travelling at a speed of around 160mph. His stricken body, lying still strapped to his seat is one of the sport's most harrowing, and enduring images highlighting the dangers of the sport.

Fast forward almost 30 years and a phone call on a April Saturday night from seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, brought back memories of that crash for Martin and let to Hollywood and a certain match up with silver screen legend Brad Pitt.
