In this video, created in collaboration with Viherkaste Oy, we get to hear the experiences of an international student from Karelia University of Applied Sciences completing an internship at a Finnish company. Both the intern and representatives of Viherkaste share their perspectives on working together in a multicultural environment in North Karelia.
The message is clear: successful collaboration does not always require perfect Finnish or English skills. What matters most are professional competence, motivation, and a positive attitude. This video encourages companies to recognize the value that international experts bring to their teams — all it takes is openness and a willingness to grow together.
