These days, more and more people are working from home. Watch this video to learn vocabulary and phrases related to homeworking. I’ll also talk about the social context of Generation Y and millennials in English-speaking countries, and why it has led to more people working from home. We will talk about shifting values, the role of men in the family, and much more. In the second part of the class, I’ll give you some sample sentences you can use to talk to your boss about working from home some or all of the time. By the way, this video was filmed before the pandemic. I know many more people are working from home now, even if they don’t want to!
