Did I just turn into an AMer?!??!?! Normally I work PM trips and I bid to work PM reserve BUT this is an AM trip and for a good reason! My airline has two types of flight attendants AMers and PMers, I am 100% a PM flight attendant. I enjoy my sleep and not needing to set an alarm on my layovers. AM and PM flight attendants will argue their points on why working one or the other is better. I tend to be a night owl and stay awake super late so PM trips work for me, getting up at 4AM does not!!

* Each airline is different, and glassdoor is a great resource to look up how much Flight Attendants make at each airline. Typically flight attendants are paid per block (when the plane blocks in and out) however my airline we are paid every 50min we call it a "trip" due to us having flights that are shorter than 50 min sometimes!
I want to become a Flight Attendant, where do I start?
* You have to do your research, google to see what airlines are hiring and what airline would fit into your lifestyle. There are so many flight attendant vloggers and tiktokers now that can show different perspectives on the lifestyle. Make sure you have an updated resume, you never know when airlines will drop their applications!
