I love words and I collect them. The best source of discovering new words unfamiliar to you, are from reading books. I am one of those readers who WILL break off from reading to note down a new word and its meaning, or more accurately, I cut and paste dictionary entries for the word in a community discussion thread on Goodreads. That community is no longer active, so by continuing to post new words, I've effectively created a record of my discovered words which i can always go back and refer to.

Here I share some of those words, their meanings etymological origins. And also whether I've managed to incorporate them into my own fiction writing.
