In this Woodturning video I turn an Ash Crotch log into a natural edge form. This log was due to be cut up for firewood but as you probably know I'm a sucker for anything weird looking that may be a bit of a challenge to turn so thought I would give it a go.. I don't mind the odd crack in pieces but as you can see, one opened up massively overnight, I did contemplate just putting it back in the firewood pile but thought I might as well add some epoxy to the crack and finish it off..
