This is the first video in the Woodpeckers OneTIME Tool series.
First up we have the MFT Layout and Assembly Square. This product was provided by Woodpeckers to give my full honest review and opinion. This is a dedicated tool for setting up and squaring your Festool MFT Table's fence and rail. It can be a tedious task with other tools but due to the height of the square, it allows you to get a nice registration and not have to worry about holding the blade of a traditional square up in the air.
The two included positioning dog holes allow the user to align their material to the rail in 45, 90, or inline. We are really excited about this feature when we have our hole pattern in our 5' x 5' assembly table top we will be building soon.
Ultimately this tool isn't needed in the workshop but it could be a necessity if you are someone that constantly is changing the angle on the MFT or moving it to a job site and having to recalibrate it all the time.
