The Wood-Mizer LX30 sawmill in real-world use: In this video, a user from Lower Saxony shares his experience with the LX30 - from purchase and assembly through to the first cuts with logs from his own woodland.
After earlier homemade solutions and with upcoming projects on the farm - including building a barn and other timber work - the decision was made to go with a compact sawmill for private and workshop use. The LX30 was ordered through Wood-Mizer’s online shop, including fast delivery and easy pickup.
The Wood-Mizer LX30 was assembled independently. With the help of the Wood-Mizer app and the digital assembly instructions, the sawmill was fully put together in one day. The first project: a raised platform for the sawmill itself.
In operation, the LX30 impresses with:
- clean, accurate cuts
- easy operation
- strong cutting performance
- processing log diameters up to 56 cm
Only pine is sawn - sourced exclusively from the owner’s own woodland. Beams, boards, and construction lumber are produced right on site - independent, efficient, and cut precisely to the required dimensions.
