I need wood taperd pins. Turning small tapers on the lathe accurately is slow and tedious, grinding round dowels to shape is unreliable. With this jig I can make tapered pins of any wood in seconds and they match the tapered hole from the reamer perfectly every time!
And yes, of course the mill makes this jig super easy to make but it can be done just with hand held drill and saw with the exact same result. This is the mill I recetly got by the way:
