The 8800 is indeed probably a better fit for the 1025r. Having said that, the 9900 runs fine on the 1025r. It just weighs too much for the 1025r to lift. Our other 1025r demo of the 9900 shows that in detail. You can ‘assist’ the lift manually by picking up on the chipper. In my opinion (and from years of experience with the 1025r, I do not beleive this will cause damage. Having said that, I am not making any guarantees. Purchase at your own risk.
