After the huge success of its inaugural year, Wonsan Air Festival will be back in 2017 for a second time, bigger and even better! Taking place on 23rd – 24th September, it promises to be the DPRK tourism highlight of the year and a hotly anticipated addition to the international airshow calendar.
There will be thrilling aerobatic flying displays, picturesque pleasure flights, exciting skydiving opportunities, scenic mass balloon ascents and much more. In addition to aeronautical pursuits, your hosts will be entertaining visitors with a wide range of cultural activities, including an impressive song and dance performance by the Kangwon Province Art Troupe. The grand finale of the Festival will feature a mass dance in Wonsan’s central square and a glorious firework display across the bay.
Traditional Korean food, snacks and drink will be available during the event. Due to its huge popularity last year with foreigners and locals alike, we are very happy to announce the DPRK’s National Beer Showcase will be taking place at the same time, offering a range of Korean beers from across the country, and visitors will be welcome to sample their wares.

싱가포르 사진작가 아람 판씨, 북한에 가서 먹방을 찍다!
지난 2013년부터 북한을 전문으로 취재하는 싱가포르 사진 작가 아람 판씨가 북한 식당들을 방문하여 찍은 영상이 화제가 되고 있다.
주권방송은 아람 판씨에게 영상을 제공받아 평양먹방시리즈를 제작했다.
9편은 아람판씨와 가이드 김정화 씨가 평양순안국제공항[제2청사] 내에 있는 커피 전문점을 찾은 영상이다.
평양순안국제공항 제2청사는 2015년 7월 1일 개장하였으며 면세점과 식당 등 세련된 편의시설을 갖춰 화제가 된 바 있다.
공항 커피전문점을 찾은 아람 판씨 일행은 베일리스 라떼와 카라멜 라떼를 주문했다. 베일리스 라떼는 베일리스라는 술에 에스프레소, 우유, 얼음을 넣고 휘핑크림을 얹어 만드는 커피이다.
지난 영상에서 우리는 어리니까 단 것을 좋아한다고 말했던 김정화 씨는 이번 회에서도 베일리스 라떼를 맛보더니 요것 말입니다. 사탕가루 조금만 더 넣어주실 수 있나요?라고 요청해 시럽을 추가하기도 했다.")
